Addict Or Ironman?

Todd Crandell, of Sylvania Ohio, is the founder and Executive Director of Racing for Recovery [click pic for info]. I met Todd recently and asked him how Racing for Recovery is different than typical 12 Step AA programs. He said the difference is instead of emphasizing what they used to be ["Hi, I'm Todd, and I'm an alcoholic."], Crandell and his Racing for Recovery support groups unashamedly emphasize the physically and spiritually healthy people they are becoming in Christ. They credit the life transforming grace of God for making them into "new creatures" [2 Corinthians 5:17].

When he's not racing, Todd is available to speak at your church [call 866.SOBER.01]. To tell his story. And encourage you to open your doors to host a Racing for Recovery support group. Which don't have to be about drugs. Some people are addicted to food. Pornography. Shopping. But they all need encouragement and friends with faith in the life transforming power of God. Think about it!!! And then click the triangular play button to watch the 10 minute segment ESPN recently aired. WTG Todd!!!
