On March 5-6, Professor of Biblical Studies and author Dr. Alden Thompson will be presenting for the community a lecture series entitled "Who's Afraid of the Old Testament God?" based on his book by the same title [click pic to purchase].With sensitivity and clarity, Thompson will help us grapple with the violence of the Old Testament and even the devastation of catastrophic suffering today such as the fallout from the recent earthquake in Haiti.
