Tim Keller, author of The Prodigal God, thinks so. If you have 15 minutes to listen to his thought provoking interview from Columbia University, please do. His conclusions remind me of the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel's who said Sodom's sins had more to do with not loving like crazy than sexual promiscuity. Ezekiel 16:49, "Sodom's sins were pride, gluttony, and laziness, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door. She was proud and committed detestable sins, so I wiped her out, as you have seen." Doesn't God love hetero and homosexuals like crazy?

Many thanks for posting this excellent question, Pastor Mike and including the relevant video clip discussion from Pastor Tim Keller. You are both absolutely right about Christ's and God's commands to love our neighbors like crazy, hetero and homo, sexuals,. Spot on.
what a great interview. love to hear folks talking through some good questions. reminds me of when i was in a small group. :) wish it wasn't all cut off. listened to the three listed. great! thanks for posting. of course, we are to love one another. period. if we let Christ in and allow Him to live in us, this will be the natural result. we can be a little selfish so it's not always easy but can there really be a question of God's love for all people and that we are to be like that?
FYI, you can watch all four parts of that interview here:
